Dark Deception

Disclaimer:  I received this Book from the publisher, Bethany House, for free to read and review through the blogger review program. I was not required to give a favorable review only an honest review, nor was I compensated for my review.  All thoughts and comments in this review are my own.

Kate O’Brien and her twin sister, Kelly, were attacked four years ago by a serial killer dubbed the Blue-Eyed Killer.  Kelly didn’t survive the attack.

After the trial Kate is relocated to the quiet town of Shelter Cove, Arkansas.  Suddenly her quiet world is turned upside down when new evidence maybe show the convicted Blue-Eyed Killer isn’t the murderer.  Kate is subpoenaed to testify once again, but only agrees to go back to St. Louis if Tony DeLuca, escorts her.  He was the original U.S. Marshal who protected her during the first trial and she trusts him.  Of course things never go as planned and Tony finds himself once again trying to keep her alive, while keeping his feelings for her at bay.

This book is guaranteed to catch your attention from the first page and as the suspense builds with each twist and turn it will keep you on the edge of your seat.  I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic suspense novel and highly recommend it be added to the top of your summer reading list.
