Book Review-Conspiracy of Silence By: Ronie Kendig

Conspiracy of Silence
By:  Ronie Kendig
Publisher:  Bethany House

About the Book:
THIS IS THE WAY THE WORLD ENDS.
Cole “Tox” Russell’s team was decimated after a tragic mission and the United States turned its back on “Tox”.  He was ok with that, because he had a lot of demons to deal with and just wanted to be left alone.  A centuries old plague is unleased and the government hopes to bring Tox back into action, but he wants no part of it until he thinks his niece has been abducted.

When Tox meets with the president the only way he will work for them is for his Special Forces group to be able to reunite and work with him, but they have to work with Kasey Cortes, a FBI deception expert and Tziva Khalon, an archeologist.  Their information leads them from one country to another, but time is quickly running out when they realize they are not only dealing with a plague, but they are also battling an ancient society that wants to remain hidden.

This book had me hooked from the first couple pages.  It is filled with mystery, intrigue, deception, Biblical history and a little romance.  Tox took the fall for his team when their mission went sour and when he was called back into action he met Kasey (Haven) whom he didn’t realize he had met before until much later, however their chemistry clicked.  As the twists and turns took them deeper into danger Tox just wanted to keep Kasey safe and find the cure for the plague.  If you like nail biting action then I highly recommend this book.  I found it to be a little difficult at first to follow, but once I got the hang of it…it was well worth sticking with it.  I highly recommend this book and author.

Disclosure: I was given a copy of this Book by the publisher, Bethany House, blogger program for review, however I was not required to write a favorable review nor was I compensated for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.
