Book Review-From this Day Forward by Lauraine Snelling

From This Day Forward
Song of Blessing #4
By:  Lauraine Snelling
Publisher:  Bethany House

As the town of Blessing, North Dakota grows, the hardships and trials multiply with it, but as the Bjorklund family continues their journey of life, they give insight on how life can become messed up when you leave God out of it and how sweet forgiveness can be.

In “From this Day Forward”, Deborah Mac Callister, head nurse, at Blessing Hospital is the featured character.  Deborah’s friends are all married with families and that is what she longs for the most.  She has loved Toby Valders since they were in school, but for some reason, even though he cares for her, he cannot commit to a relationship or even think about marriage.  However when the new school teacher, Anton Gendarme, comes to Blessing, jealousy rears its head and Toby suddenly realizes he may lose the one person he loves…but is it too late?

The twists and turns of Deborah’s journey will lead you through the maze of desire for marriage and longing to put God first.

This is another delightful book of the Bjorklund Family.  Even though it is a series book you do not need to read the previous books, however once you have read this one…you will definitely want to go back and read the other three!
