Book Review-If I Run By Terri Blackstock

If I Run
By: Terri Blackstock

How do you prove your innocence when your DNA is all over the crime scene?  Seeing no way to prove her innocence Casey Cox is forced to run from the murder scene of her best friend, Bruce, and from the law because she doesn’t trust them.

Dylan Roberts, a veteran with PTSD has been hired to track her down.  Looking at the crime scene he pretty much has figured out what happened but as he searches for Casey things just don’t seem to add up and he begins to doubt she is the killer.  However the murdered man, Bruce was his friend and he was hired by his family to find the killer.  Dylan is torn between wanting to bring Casey in, yet his heart just doesn’t believe she is guilty…she simply doesn’t fit the profile of a killer.

In true Terri Blackstock style..she once again brings another book that will not only capture your heart from the first page but will also capture your attention all the way through to the end of the book.  The twists and turns in this book will at times keep you turning the pages while sitting on the edge of your seat.  The characters are so well developed you will find yourself not only rooting for Casey, but also wanting Dylan to find a way to restore his soul.  I love that MS Blackstock touches on the trauma of living with PTSD.  It helps to bring awareness to this issue with our veterans.  In my opinion this is a must-read book especially if you like mystery and intrigue.  You can’t go wrong with a Terri Blackstock book!
