Book Review - All Dressed in White By Mary Higgins Clark

All Dressed in White
By:  Mary Higgins Clark
& Alafair Burke
Publisher:  Simon & Schuster

Mary Higgins Clark is a well-known mystery writer and has now teamed up with Alafair Burke in a new series: Under Suspicion.

“All Dressed in White” is the second in the series. However you do not need to read the first one.   Under Suspicion, hosted by Laurie Moran, profiles cold cases.    The case they have chosen to profile is that of a bride who disappeared 5 years ago just hours before her wedding.  Her case was dubbed “Runaway Bride”.  Amanda’s body was never found and her mother, Sandra Pierce never gave up hope that her daughter would be found.  It seems the police had given up so Sandra approached Laurie in hopes she would profile the case.  Laurie along with her partner Alex Buckley assembled the entire bridal party at the Grand Victoria Hotel in Palm Beach where they knew the story and lies would intensify.

This is written in true Mary Higgins Clark style.  It is guaranteed to not disappoint.  The twists and turns of this plot will keep you turning the pages, while trying to figure out which of her “friends” is the guilty person.  Jealousy, blame and suspicion will run rampant throughout this group as Laurie and Alex do their best to put this cold-case to rest.

Disclosure: I was given a copy of this eBook by the publisher, Simon & Schuster, through NetGalley blogger program for review. I was not required to write a favorable review nor was I compensated for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.
