Andi Under Pressure
Age Group: Tween
By: Amanda Flower
Andora (Andi) Boggs a 12-year-old and her new best friend, Colin Carter is excited to be chosen to attend science camp at a local university in Killdeer, Ohio.
From the first day weird things are happening, like missing markers, stolen scales and crickets being let loose, but things go too far when the chemistry professor is injured in an explosion in the lab. Campus security thinks janitor Polk is responsible because he is a little weird, but Andi is not so sure. Being weird doesn’t mean you are guilty so she and Colin try to unravel the mystery before the danger ends camp for good.
Love, love, loved this book. It was filled with twists and turns that made it fun to keep turning the pages to find out what would happen next and how Andi and Colin would deal with it. What a great modern-day Nancy Drewish book for Tweens. Being a Fan of Nancy Drew when I was a few years younger, this is a perfect series for anyone who wants to introduce their child to a good clean mystery series that portrays positive goals, honesty and integrity.
I can’t wait to introduce my grandchild to the Andi series. I think she’s going to love it as much as I loved reading it.
Although this is the first Amanda Flower book I have read and reviewed, it definitely won’t be my last one.
