Rescue At Cardwell Ranch
& Wanted Woman
by: B.J. Daniels
Publisher:  Harlequin

Rescue At Cardwell Ranch:
When a serial predator/killer wants to find the perfect place to  stalk unsuspecting women he chooses Montana small towns because they are so far apart the police has a hard time covering the remote areas.  Hayes Cardwell, private investigator, flies to Montana from Texas to talk his brother out of opening a new restaurant in Montana.  Upon arriving in Montana he stops by a grocery store to pick up a few items before heading to Cardwell ranch, where he rescues McKenzie Sheldon, owner of a local real estate company from being abducted and killed.

In Rescue At Cardwell Ranch, B.J. Daniels spins her magic and again creates a story line full of adventure, romance, mystery and suspense.

If you love the West and cowboy knights-in-shinning Stetsons, then this is a book you won’t want to miss.  I was captivated from the first page.  The characters were so real, you felt like you were part of them.

Wanted Woman:
The adventure and mystery surrounding Maggie Randolph started right from the first page.  She comes from a very wealthy family and after her father passes away things are just not adding up that his plane crash was just an accident.  She receives a call telling her if she wants to know about the truth of her father’s death, meet him at the pier that evening with ten thousand dollars.   When she arrives as she is speaking with him he is shot.  Maggie survives but now knows that someone is trying to kill her to cover up a 27 year old kidnapping….hers! Armed with this new information she realizes she must go to the town of the kidnapping to find who kidnapped her and who is trying to kill her now and why?  As she rides her motorcycle through the night, just as she reaches the outskirts of town she is struck by a car.  Jessie Tanner, temporary sheriff, sees the accident from his house and comes to her rescue.  He realizes she is running scared and doesn’t ask a lot of questions to begin with….

This book is filled with so many twists and turns and a whole lot of suspense it will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat.  It is filled with romance, intrigue and adventure.  The plot is fast paced and will keep you turning the pages…

Disclosure: I was given a copy of these two eBook by the publisher, Harlequin, through NetGalley blogger program for review. I was not required to write a favorable review nor was I compensated for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.
