Sometimes Life Throws You A Curve

Have you ever felt that life in general just gets in the way of what you want to do?  Well that is what has happened to me for almost a year now.  My crafting room sits silent and unused.  Daily it beckons as I walk by and I wistfully say.."no time today", maybe tomorrow. My last unfinished project still lays on my desk.  I wonder if it will ever be completed.  Sometimes I think I should just turn my room back into a bedroom, but I am just not ready yet to do so.

Beginning early last Spring life dealt another blow and it meant that hubby and I became the main caregivers for my parents. My siblings help when they can, but hubby is my main support.  Just before Christmas, I was not feeling well.  I thought it would pass, however that was not the case. I finally went to the doctor, I have an infection in my eyes, ears and sinuses.   I have now been on antibiotics for 10 days and was told today I would have to complete another course of antibiotics.   All I can say is that I'm tired of not feeling well, tired of the infection and would love to get on with my life.  Somedays I feel like I have a black cloud hanging over my head, but in spite of all that God has been so good to me and my family.  Were it not for my faith in Him I would surely have given up hope. With not having time to craft He has opened another door for me (reading books and reveiwing, I get no pay for this just the enjoyment of reading and expressing my view be it good or bad and free books to reveiw). My wonderful brother sent me his old Kindle about the time last year that life threw us our cruve.   With spending so much time in doctor's offices, etc., my Kindle has helped me turn that time into reading and doing a few book reviews.  I have found it is much easier to carry a book/Kindle than crafting supplies.  Thus far I choose to mostly read books that are light and intertaining.  Life is too precious to dwell on a lot of  deep stuff.   LOL.  However my love for crafting, scrapbooking and cardmaking has not dimished and I still enjoy seeing your lovely creations, so when I have time I do stop by and visit your blogs, but seldom have time to leave a post

If you have time drop me a line using my "contact me" in the right sidebar.  I would love to hear from you.

Blessings to all of you.

Hugs,
Sally
