Book Review - Stranded by Dani Pettrey

Touching & Heart Warming

Stranded

by: Dani Pettrey

Publisher:  Bethany House

Darcy St. James, former uncover journalist received a call from her friend Abby who is undercover on the cruise ship, Bering and has discovered something sinister that has her terrified.  When Darcy arrives, Abby disappears without a trace.  Gage McKenna, from Last Frontier Adventures and also of the McKenna’s in Ms. Pettrey’s previous books is surprised to see Darcy in a staff meeting.  He and Darcy have a previous history and when he finds out why she is there, he is less than pleased with her.   People are missing and weird things are happening. Can Gage and Darcy put their differences aside and work together to find out what is happening before someone else dies?  Will they find Darcy’s friend alive?  These are all questions answered as you turn the pages of “Stranded”
MS. Pettrey does it again.  She brings the characters to life in a beautifully written story of mystery, intrigue, romance, and faith.  She gently shows how faith and trust in God brings about change in people.  I have read most of MS Pettrey’s books and am a big fan of her style of writing.  I find it refreshing to read books that do not have explicit language and sex yet are fast paced well written mysteries.
