Book Review - The Switch by Sandra Brown

MS. Brown Does It Again
The Switch
by: Sandra Brown
Publisher:  Grand Central Publishing
Identical twins, Gillian and Melina Lloyd,  Jem Hennings, Gillian’s “boyfriend”,  Astronaut Christopher (Chief) Hart and a charismatic preacher, Brother Gabriel are the characters in this book.  Melina owns an escort service and her sister Gillian is a real estate tycoon.  Gillian feels her biological clock is running out, but Jem is sterile so she goes to the Waters Clinic for Artificial Insemination.  Melina convinces Gillian to switch places with her as an escort for Astronaut Hart, after which she and Chief spend most of the night together.  The next morning she is found stabbed to death.  Suddenly Melina and Chief find themselves on the run and can trust no one.
This book was filled with twists and turns that kept me riveted.  I couldn’t put it down and read it in one evening.  It was amazing how Ms. Brown brought all these unlikely characters together in the culmination of one of the best suspense novels to date.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mystery, intrigue and romance.
