Book Reveiw-Sweet Sanctuary by Kim Vogel Sawyer

A must read uplifting book

Sweet Sanctuary

Lydia Eldridge longs to find a safe refuge for her young son from his drug addicted father, who only wants use him as a way to provide drug money for his addiction.  Dr. Micah Hatcher cares for the immigrant population during WWII in Queens, NY.   Dr. Hatcher and Lydia previously knew each other while in Oahu at Schofield Station Hospital.   Once again their paths crossed as each one works to provide a safe sanctuary for those they cared for…Lydia...for the son she was entrusted to keep safe and Dr. Hatcher...for the needy people God put in his path.  As the story unfolds they find themselves wrapped up in each other’s situations not realizing that God is altering their future course  in life.
This book is filled with family secrets, unbelief, turmoil and much discord.  As the story unfolds Ms. Sawyer again works her magic in bringing together all these situations and covering them with God’s love.  She shows again how depending on God  through the tough times and waiting for His answers will fill your life with joy.

I would  highly recommend this book.  It is filled with love, compassion and faith based situations along with some danger and a little romance.
