Shopping My Stash

Have you ever bought those large packages of paper just because you loved one or two sheets in the whole pack and put the rest aside, not necessarily because you didn't like them but because you really didn't know how to use them?  Well that is me....so...I have been busy shopping my stash and making myself use some of those sheets of paper.  I have to say, it has caused me to step outside of my comfort zone.  Here is some of what I came up with...
Ooops!  For the life of me I just can't seem to lose that butterfly punch... Love that thing..

Challenges:
A Spoon Full Of Sugar  Ribbons & Bows
Top Tip Tuesday  Cross It
Everybody Art Challenge  #147 Anything Goes
One Stitch At A Time  Things With Wings

Challenges:
Sentimental Sundays    Sparkley/Shimmery with a sentiment  (Hope you can see all that glitter on the ice cubes)
Stamptacular  Fun In The Sun  (this image always reminds me of summer)
Crafty Creations  Let It Shine  Sparkly/Shinny

Close-up so you can see the glittery ice cubes.  Makes you just want to drink that lemonade on a nice hot summery day!

Card Patterns   Sketch  (I left off the sentiment as I am not sure how I am going to use this card)
Secret Crafter  Something around the house--household item (cup)
Cutie Sunday  Animals

 Challenge:
All Sorts #108  3, 2,1  3 Papers, 2 ribbons, 1 flower
I added a tiny little flower down by the sentiment

To me this card is questionable...Not sure I like the outcome at all
Challenges:
Copic Creations    #52 Doodling  (I used the copic spica markers and made the hearts and lines:(  I'm thinking doodling is not my thing)
The Crafty Pad  # 126 Something new...home...baby

Challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp   Sketch (I didn't have an oval that would fit my image so I rounded the corners)
Magnolia Down Under   #101 Acetate/transparency  (I found the acetate flourish in my stash...Perfect fit)
Scrappy Frogs   Simply Red
Fab n Funky  Summer Loving

Well done for you breaking into your paper stash. I too have the same problem with big pieces of paper. I love the wrapping papers at Paperchase and they are such good value but difficult to use as they are tooo nice. I share your pain :)

Fabulous selection of cards and your butterfly punch is a lovely shape.

Many thanks for joining in with our Things With Wings challenge over at OSAAT

Can't get over the colouring of your coffee beans sack - SO realistic I'm utterly envious. Just discovered your blog courtesy of Bev Rochester's one (from a post way back in 2009).

Great to connect to yet another Christian crafting blogger :))
