About Soft Pencil and the Owner
My name is Elizabeth Pujalka. I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am happily married, have a son and sweet cat, Michula. I am an immigrant’s granddaughter (Macedonian & Austrian) who transmitted their cultures and customs to me. This tends me make me feel like I am from here and there. I love knowing different cultures, and thanks to my work, I have lots of friends around the world!
My illustrations are a homage to the nature and beauty of their creatures, where a sweet child, a simple flower or a fragile animal become absolute protagonists. I hope you enjoy my whimsical world of lovely characters!
In addition to running my own business, Soft Pencil Shop, I also design on a freelance basis.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy your visit
Elizabeth’s images are a delight to work with. She has captured the whimsy in each creation to perfection. If there is someone you know who needs to be cheered up, her images are just the ticket. If you have not used her images before and would like to give them a try she also has a freebie section. Be sure to stop by and have a look at http://softpencilshop.blogspot.com
Elizabeth has generously agreed to sponsor my spotlight this week by giving a $15.00 voucher for images of the winner’s choice. How cool is that? You even get to choose which images you want!
How do you get a chance to win these lovely images?

This week I have chosen to not spotlight any particular company or product brand. I thought I would do some fun stuff with glitter. Yeah, I know it's messy but sooo much fun.
In this image below I have stamped an image using a glue pad, glitter that I mixed (don't be afraid to experiment with mixing colors), doublesided tape and the glitter is a mixture of opaque and semi-transparent
The next image is done using a brass stencil, using opaque and semi transparent glitters and sticker paper. I peeled the backing from the sticker paper, placed the stencil on the paper, carefully glittered my image. When I finished I carefully removed my stencil and then glittered where the brass stencil was, using semi-transparent inference green, (clear with a greenish tint)
My last project is probably one of my very favorites. It is using lace to make a background using sticker paper. Peel off the protective covering on the sticker paper and adhere the lace.
Generously sprinkle glitter of your choice onto the lace and work it into the areas using your fingers (messy).. Dust off the excess glitter onto a paper so you can return it to the container.
Carefully remove lace and choose your next color.
Again generously sprinkle the glitter over image, but this time do not use your fingers just gently roll back and forth to cover the area completely.. Tap off excess glitter again on a sheet of paper so to put it back in the container.
This is what it looks like when both colors have been added.
Now you are ready to use it as a background or you can even punch flowers from it for embellishments. The possibilites are unlimited when using glitter.

forgot to photo the inside of this card.
This last card I made for My Miss V's PreSchool graduation this coming weekend. She loves pink and I thought this House Mouse image would be perfect. She told me she wanted "lots" of money in her tri-fold. Cheeky little thing isn't she? Love how these cards turned out. They are adorable. Wish you could see them IRL.

As doodler, it’s her mission to offer you new and innovative digital stamp images that allow you to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment in your work. If you love digital stamping, then she’s sure you’ll love her collaboration of well-designed digital stamps that is a must have collection for any art-loving stamper!

Also their Design Team Coordinator, Valerie U. and DT Members have some fantastic weekly challenges for you to participate in and win free images, at Oodles of Doodles News deedledeedoodle.blogspot.com . Be sure to stop in and join the fun.
I have been using Diane’s digital images for awhile now and I can’t tell you how fabulous her images are. You will just have to try them for yourself. When you download them, there is no pixilation at all and I even print them as coloring pages 8.5 x 11 for my granddaughter to color. Her images are very detailed and she has a nice range from conservative to whimsy. Her images are for all groups of crafters, so if you like conservative (like me) she has it, if you like whimsy, it’s there too. Her service is also exceptional. She is friendly and caring.
Diane has kindly offered to sponsor my spotlight this week with not one, or two, but 5 digital images for one very lucky winner this week.
How can you get your little paws on these magnificent images?
1. Visit DZDoodles Digital Stamps
2. Come back and tell me what you like about her images and if you have used them what you like about them or if you have not used them, why you would like to use them.

My Personal testimonial:
Having been a customer of iCopic (will be linked on my blog) for some time now I wouldn’t buy my markers any place other than iCopic. I have found them to be truly knowledgeable of the product they sell so don’t hesitate ever to ask them what you need to know. Their service and mail order is unquestionably some of the best ever. Copic Markers are my favorite medium to color with. I can see the two of us having a very long relationship. I have owned several copics for over a year now and they are just as good as they were the day I purchased them. I can’t say the same for other markers I have used. Please stop by iCopic (will be linked on my blog) and have a look around. I am sure you will be inspired to do a little “shopping” while you’re there. BTW, if you become a Gold Member…your shipping is free and they have made it so easy to become a Gold Member. I should know.. I’m one!

I have been buying a few extra stamps from Heart and Soul each time I order because I had planned to give at least 1 stamp to each person that left a comment during this week as it ended on Mother's Day. I only had 6 comments so everyone who left a comment has won this week. I didn't use Random Generator, I just had Miss V choose your names from a basket and put them on the baggies of stamps. It will be a surprise when you get them. I hope you all enjoy them and Happy Mother's Day.
