Check out the Blog Candy No Longer Spotlighting Scor-Pal

UPdated posts.... A little problem .
UPDATED UPDATE: Scor-Pal contaced me last night (via email) telling me their webstore was down for 2 days (not their email) Although I understand that issue, I still don't understand the lack of acknowledgement before that. Maybe I pulled the spotlight too soon, but in my heart I didn't want it to go on until the end with some person being very disappointed.

When I do a spotlight I always up until now have had product in hand to make sure that I will have the freebie to give when the spotlight is over, however with scor-pal they have opted to not send me the product, but said they will mail it themselves to the winner. The week before the spotlight I always contact the company with the write-up, letting them know their spotlight is coming up at the first of the week, however scor-pal has not acknowledge my current emails. Since I cannot afford to purchase one to give away . I am pulling the sponsorship. In place of this I have listed blog candy and it is open to everyone, not just North America. I know this is not as good as a scor-pal, but it is the best I could do.

I am so sorry and I will try never to let this happen again. Thank you so much for your understanding. This will run until the 28th of March with the winner being announced on Monday March 29.
For all of you who left posts on the scor-pal, I have left them on this post and have tried to contact you via email. If you prefer to not be included in the blog candy, just let me know using the email in my side bar and I will remove your entry. This is open to ALL

Again I am so sorry.

I know this in no way makes up for a scor-pal.

Cuttlebug die - Spring

Cuttlebug die - Party

Basic Grey Paper pack 6 x 6 - Wisteria

Petaloo- Flora Doodles

Scrappy Cats - Clear Stamps Pretty blooms

Mark Richards Pearls & dots - 3 pkgs 1 each of 3mm gold metallic, blue clear dots and 1 5mm pink

Pkg of assorted pink and red paper flowers

Michaels Bridal Table Confetti flowers. 100 assorted colors.

5 pkgs of assorted charms and embellishments

21 assorted ribbons from my ribbon stash each is at least 2 feet of ribbon for a total of 42 feet of ribbon.

I will try to scrounge up more items that will fit into my flat rate mailer.

Thank you so much for your understanding and your lovely emails understanding the situation.

I've heard about this product but never knew what it was... till now. That's what you get for having a non-cardmaker stalking you Sally! *g*

Good luck all you Northern Americans :D I'll stick it on my sidebar as well Sally, you never know - I do get some American peeps come visit :)

Fantastic company to spotlight this week. I have a scor pal and it is one of the best tools!I just wished they had put in 1/8"!

WOW the stars must be in perfect alignment. My girlfriend and I were just talking about how much we want a Scor-Pal. I have see and heard but do not have. I hate when I get my good CS paper out, cut it so nice and then fold, it "cracks" at the fold and you see the white of the paper. To me it's such a waist. I see that Scor-Pal will eliminate all that. Just to be able to make all the possibility of cards that are out there. What a DREAM Come true it would be.
I will make sure Big Mamma's Stampin House tells everyone that comes by.

Hi Sally
Unfortunately I can't enter this time because I'm not in North America as you know :-), but I have a score pal and how I managed without one I do not know, it's just amazing with you can do with it.
I shall post on my blog.
Hugs Linda

What a wonderful story! I didn't know this about the creator. I have always wanted one of these and am happy to know that my frayed folds would be "healed!" Thanks for the info on this Sally. I'll post about this tomorrow:)

I am a new Scor-Pal user. Santa brought me one because I was a good girl. I always used blank cards as my base but now I am more apt to make a base from scratch. I get a nice crease, with no boo boos. I also try different 3D projects because it is easier.

Sally! I think the new candy is amazing! Glad to still be in the running!!

Hi Sally, I can imagine it must have put you in a difficult position, but I think you were absolutely right to withdraw your post if you felt you couldn't guarantee availability of a promised prize. You've come out with your integrity intact and I'm sure everyone will understand. Now that you have a candy open to all, I'd love to join in, and I'm placing it in my sidebar now :) Thank you so much for your generosity.

Well I think Scor-pal lost out & you did a great job recovering from what must have been a very difficult decision. I also have scor-pal & could not live without it.

Sally, you shouldn't feel so bad about them not getting back to you - its not your fault.

To offer such wonderful candy, well, just shows what an absolute gem of a lady you are.

Sally, You're amazing! Even when a company bails out on you, you still come up with an even better giveaway. Love the giveaway!

Take heart, everything happens for a reason. :)

That's so unfortunate and so non-professional from a company like theirs! Thank you for the chance to win this gorgeous candy anyway.

Good luck to everyone else. And big hugs to you, Sally.
