Here is my entry.

I am a little disappointed that the colors didn't photograph as true to color as they are. I don't know if it is the camera or the operator. More than likely the operator.

I used odds and ends of cardstock and stampin up paper. Flowers were made by using punch bunch punches and leaves from Martha Stewart branch punch. Centers are Jelly Tots. Magnolia image was colored with copic markers.

Charisma Cardz Sketch # 30

Good Morning Everyone! It's Thursday again and time for another challenge from Charisma Cardz . Hard to believe that in 2 days time we will be entering the month of August. Where has the time gone.

My DT entry this week is a folder filled with birthday cards.

The papers came from a kit. I loved the papers but not their designs so I mostly came up with my own, maybe using an element or 2 from their designs. Can't for the life of me remember who made it. I really had fun with this sketch.

Tag It - From Charisma Cards - Challenge 29

Thursday morning to all of you! It is a great day. The weather has been a little on the coolish side and I'm loving every moment of it. I even sit out on the patio because it is so nice.

Thank you all for all the lovely creations from our last week's challenge. I do love visiting all your blogs while I'm having my morning coffee. I get so many ideas from all of you.

Now on to this week's challenge which has been set by our DT member Vee. She has chosen the topic of "Tag It". I made such a plain mundane tag, but just wait until you see all the lovely creations from my teammates. Their creations are FABULOUS. My creation this week is rather simple as I was needing a gift bag and tag.

I just used a plain white gift bag and covered it with paper from Inque Boutique - Isn't it Romantic Collection. Brads and ribbons are from my stash. Clear Dots are MarkRichardsusa. Flowers are cut using Sizzix Large daisies. Sentiment is Stacy Stamps.

Charisma Cardz DT Challenge Something POP-UP

Our DT challenge this month was to do something pop-up. I am not very good at this type of thing, but not one to let a challenge pass me by on our DT, I made scrapbook pages using my favorite subject. You guessed it. Miss V. She is always my willing participant when I am taking photos. That could account for the thousands that I have saved to CD's since her birth. LOL...

I don't know what papers I used, I think it is just papers that I have had laying around for awhile that maybe came in a pack and got separated from it's package so it's any one's guess.

I just had fun with it.

Tilda Has Room For Stuff

Well today I decided to treat myself to some "ME" time. That hasn't happened very much this summer. Hubby went to work at 5:30 this morning and I didn't have to keep Miss V, so after reding up the house a bit I took the time to craft. Once I finished that I cleaned my craft room and oh how it it needed it. I can actually see the floor and the counter top again. I have added this to the Just Magnolia/ challenge this week as it is buttons. I know these colors are a little bright, but I was in that kind of mood today and I'm lovin' them. I got one of those coupon file thingies at Michaels for a buck, then proceeded to remove the elastic band and everything else that I didn't want to show through it. I covered the inside and out with paper from SEI- Memosa. Buttons and ribbon are from my stash. Letters are cut with the cricut basic font. I colored Tilda with my copics, then added shimmerz to her wings and the cookie tray. Added good ol velcro to the inside and now I have a cute, classy "stuff" holder.

Charisma Cardz Challenge WK 28 - A Sketch

Wowzers! It's Thursday and time for another challenge from Charisma Cardz .

I have been in a little less pain this week so have been able to visit more of your blogs until Mr. Linky went walk about. Thankfully Carly has the list so you have not been lost but unfortunately I can't comment on your creations. You all are a bunch of talented people out there in blogland. Thank you all for joining us in this past week's challenge.

Now on to this week. We have a wonderful sketch for you, so hurry on over to our blog to get all the details and start crafting. Be sure to check the blogs of all the DT members. They have lots of inspiration on their blogs.

For my card I thought I would drag out the brass stencils and try running them through my cuttlebug. After several failed attempts I finally sprayed my paper with water in a mister, placed it on the stencil, then the spellbinders rubber mat and 3 cardstock shims. It worked! Whoo Hoo! I then colored my image using chalks. I had not used them in ages and had so much fun with them, that I can't wait to drag them out again. The heart stick pin is from Joann Fabrics and I glued a gold bead at the end so it wouldn't pierce through the envelope.

Week 27 - Charisma Cardz - Alter Something - No Cards

OH MY GOSH! It's Thursday and where has the time gone? Beyond me, but it seems that my weeks are just flying by. Since it is Thursday, that means it is time for another challenge from Charisma Cardz .

Before I go any further I would like to thank all you who joined our challenge this past week. I was only able to visit a few blogs due to a bout with this severe pain, however I do honestly appreciate your taking part in our challenges and I promise as soon as I can find some relief for this pain I will be back onboard checking out all your wonderful creations.

Now onto our Challenge this week. The lovely Carly has set our theme this week and it is Alter Something - NO CARDS! Be sure to stop by Charisma cards and get all the particulars of this challenge! Can't wait to see your creations.

The first thing I altered was a refrigerator frame with my ever-willing subject Miss V. Sorry the photo is not good, but there was not anyway I could set it to not get a glare of some kind. It was very simple I used an acrylic magnetic frame, added a few gems from my stash, Lime Ricky paper from Basic Grey and a Prima flower.




Next I altered an old box that once held chipboard pieces. For the life of me, I cannot remember who the paper is by. All I know is that I loved it. I used Prima white flowers, Martha Stewart branch punch, swirls die by Sizzix and flower center from my stash. The inside is dividers made from plain cardstock. I added souffle cups with embellishments in the.
