Week 11 - Just Magnolia

I thought I would see if I could forget about this excruciating pain if I made a card. Well I didn't forget about the pain, but I did manage to make a card. It fits the challenge at Just Magnolia using Bev's fabulous sketch.

Rubbernecker Stamps Meets Charisma Cardz

Hard to believe that another week has flown by. Now that the weather is warmer it can slow down!

Thank you all who took part in last week's Challenge. Your creations were fabulous. There is so much talent out there in blogland and I truly enjoyed seeing your creations and visiting your blogs.

This week's Challenge is using Rubbernecker Stamps. I had never used their stamps before, but now that I have, I will be a regular customer. You can be sure of that.

Sorry about the late post but Mr. Blogger didn't do his job. I had this set to publish at 4:30 this morning, but for some reason it didn't auto post.
It's another fine day to start another challenge with us at Charisma Cardz. Our own Claire has chosen the theme of "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend".

Before we get to that though I want to thank all of you who took part in our challenge this past week! Your Sweet Creations were truly yummy and inspirational. So much talent out there in blogland.

I took a slightly different spin on this week's challenge making a card with diamonds embossed in the background and sentiment, then sanded and added a few diamonds to make to intertwined hearts.

Something Yummy - Charisma Cardz Challenge

Will someone please tell me where the time goes? I can't believe it is Thursday already. I am already worrying that the summer is going too fast. Hubby laughs and tells me that it isn't summer yet. LOL.

Knee Deep In Dirt

Long post so grab a cup of coffee or tea. LOL
We are still knee-deep in dirt from our yard and by the days end I am covered in dirt. I am finding that I am not a neat outdoor worker. I thought this project would be finished by now, but I am finding that I don't work as fast as I once did. I told hubby yesterday that if we ever do something like this again we are hiring it done. I guess you know we won't be doing this again. LOL I am hoping one more month and we will have all the stone set and the leveling done with grass planted. Here are some of the latest pictures of our mess.

Our Chimnea is cracked and we no longer use it so I put it in my flower garden with a Nome on a swing inside. LOL

We have both ends and the back side of this garden to lay retaining stones yet. I will be so happy when it is done. Each of these stones weighs over 20 lbs.

Also yesterday was the day we had to turn in our lease vehicle. I hated to see it go, but was in hopes that we would not lease another one. I thought maybe we could try living with one vehicle and see how it went, but my husband had other ideas. All I can say is that is was nice not having a car payment even if it was only for 1 month. LOL We came home with this behemoth. It looks white, but is a color called suade white. We have yet to have the step bars put on it. They had to order them. It will help our parents to be able to get up into the thing. Plus my hubby told my sister when she comes home she can have it to drive while she is here. Since she is only 4ft 10 inches she will need something to help her get into it. I absolutely refuse to say that it will help me LOL.

Thursday - Charisma Card Challenge Day

Wow! Where did this week go? It seems like yesterday I was posting for the last challenge. Does everyone feel like the weeks are just flying by or is it me?
