Another Just For Fun Card With A Tip

I made this card before I had surgery, but just didn't have time to upload it before the "big day". I loved making it. I love tulips. Actually I love all flowers and I am so allergic to them the only way I get to enjoy them is by picture! LOL I don't think I have ever seen blue tulips, but that was the mood I was in soooooo... Anyway the tip is not the card, but the flat backed pearls. I wanted brown ones and haven't been able to find them so I took the white pearl ones and colored them with my copic markers. Now I can have colors to match my projects perfectly. You all probably already knew that. I have a feeling I will be investing in a lot of white pearls. LOL

Many of you have emailed me to ask where I got the stamp. It is a 2001 PSX stamp from Santa Rosa, CA. It is now retired. You might find it if you search google. This is one of the first stamps I bought when I started stamping and I got it at a garage sale for $5.00. LOL.. Wasn't sure I would ever use it, but it has become one of my old stand-by favorites.

Sally, it's just beautiful! I love tulips, no matter what color they are! And the tip about coloring the pears is a real keeper!

I posted a question on my blog, but when you made your entry, the question didn't show up. How many cards do you like to see in a post? Just wondering!

Glad the hands are coming along! God is good!

I dont have any copics but do have some markers so will have to give them a try. Thanks for the great idea. Would you believe I have that stamp also. How sweet is that. Havent used it in years so now will have to dig it out and have a play with it again after seeing your pretty creation. Great Card Sally,
I too have that stamp, I used it when I got it and didn't like how it turned out, so just put it with the other don't use stamps. Back then, I only had colored pencils. I don't have copics either, but I do have Tombow markers, so I will try them on the pearls. I love those blue tulips.

Thank You Sally for the blog award. Your are so kind.

The blue tulips are lovely and I really like that stamp. Liked the idea of colouring the pearls. I've done it before with Dufex pens and also peel-offs. Kym xxx
